COVID -19

Safety and peace of mind are essential at Back In Motion Functional Therapy. The following steps are being taken to protect you and maximize surface cleaning.

  • •At each appointment you must complete a Covid-19 wavier.

  • When you arrive, please text me to let me know you’re here. Take a moment to relax in your car and I will come to get you when it is time.

  • •Allow me to open and close all doors for you so I may help minimize your contact with unnecessary touching of surfaces.

  • •You will be asked to wash your hands prior to entering the treatment room.

  • •I will be following all approved Health and safety guidelines set by the health department.

  • •If you are feeling sick at all or have been in contact with a person who has symptoms listed below, please reschedule your session.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO APPOINTMENTS?

  • Please wear comfortable workout clothing to your appointments. Clothing that allows for non-restricted movement is recommended. Additionally, we recommend clothing that allows for manual therapy to be possible.

  • If you’re coming in for a lower body complaint, it is best to have gym shorts available.

  • If you’re coming in for a shoulder/neck complaint, we encourage women to wear a top (and sports bra) that exposes the shoulder blade area.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST VISIT?

  • Your initial appointment will begin with Q&A about how you use your body daily and the explanation of chief complaint(s).

  • The remaining portion of the session focus will be the chief complaint(s) and underlying problems using a blend of modalities.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BEEN SEEN?

  • It is impossible to know how often to see someone without the first initial visit. Each person responds to Functional Therapy differently.

  • Typically the second session will be 7-10 days later.

  • Then a plan can be made based on the body holds the work and overall improved function.
